A sweet, innocent-looking mailbox? Wait till you see what's inside. It's actually a house and charging station for a perimeter quadrocopter drone:
The Scandicraft is a Norwegian quadrocopter drone that has its own little house that looks like a mailbox.
It automatically launches from its little home when it does its rounds, returning to charge up and take shelter from the elements. It's a part of Scandicraft's ScanCam perimeter security system, where a small team of these guys scattered around your property would rover around and be on the look out for trouble.

Front door - sliding base - scissor jack launch pad - etc.
Sooooooo many things to go FUBAR.
Why not a cylinder hanger on a post with a simple hinged (or slide back) lid so the drone can directly take off and land?
