Do Tinfoil Hats Work?

Is that tinfoil hat that you wear on your head actually effective at keeping out subversive messages? Rick Crammond of British Columbia decided to find out. He tested a foil-lined cap to find out if it would block the electromagnetic pulse from a wireless modem. Good news! It works, and people may still laugh at you, but at least your brain is safe.

I think for lots of people it would be a good question if such hat also could keep the subversive messages from getting OUT...

Well... that assumes that the waves from your modem have the ability to stimulate your brain transcranially. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation is possible, for example Dr. Michael Persinger with his "God helmet" at Laurentian University in Sudbury, ON, CA. However, it is probably the case the modem or other devices do not have this ability, atleast to a significant degree.
