This military all-purpose tool looks like something that should have been marketed by Ron Popeil. And don't laugh at the title of this post - the shovel does actually slice and dice. And it could probably julienne.
Ok I want, NO, NEED one of these.. I dont think i can possibly live life as fully with out one as I suspect i would with one...
^ I know right.. Like i really need this shovel now.. I woke up happy and content with my possessions in life, but now!! I need a dang shovel... great!
it slices, it dices and it Juliennes too. they were Julienneing the potatos. althought i won't be adding it to my kitchen utensils, this has got to be the coolest shovel ever.
Chrome this is Army issue so they don't care about the odd splinter- any user is supposed to be rough and tough just like this tool.
I want one of those too, but I think that there will be the odd problem or two when I carry that next to my cellphone, creditcard and drivers license...
Kai, this one is far from "standard". I doubt the shovels used by the Roman empire had a saw blade, a bottle opener, wire cutters, a measuring stick, etc. That's like calling a Swiss Army Knife "just a standard knife".
No seriously - does anyone know where to buy this? I don't think it's fair to call it "just" an entrenching tool, because it clearly has a bunch of stuff in the hinge that other tools don't. So I'm very interested in getting one of these to throw in the car.
I really enjoyed the "shield" and the "oar" parts.
the safety word is "splinter"
I want one of those too, but I think that there will be the odd problem or two when I carry that next to my cellphone, creditcard and drivers license...
