You make be spooked out by them or you may be entranced, but Sophie Cave's installation Floating Heads at the Kelvingrove Museum in the Scottish city of Glasgow is certainly turns heads!

From hilarity to despair the heads together form a captivating (if neck ache inducing) experience. It can easily be seen why so many visitors to the museum find the faces unnerving – even though the eye constantly returns to them – perhaps to check which of the fifty is checking you out!

Reminds me of the ghosts at Walt Disney World's "The Haunted Mansion". I kinda like it.

I've seen this in person when I was at Kelvingrove last summer for their Dr. Who exhibit. The only thing creepier than the floating heads was the angel statues from Dr. Who.

It makes me thing of Sandy Skoglund's "Revenge of the Goldfish".
