This image won the prize for Best Ion MicroGraph in the 47th International Conference on Electron, Ion and Photon Beam Technology and Nanofabrication Bizarre/Beautiful Micrograph Contest. It was created and recorded by Takayuki Hoshino and Shinji Matsui of the Himeji Institute of Technology.
