Household Rube Goldberg Machine

(Video Link)

Tom Baynham and Ben Tyers, graduate students in mechanical engineering at Cambridge, created this enormous Rube Goldberg machine that stretches over an entire residence. They call it "The Contraption II."

Very imaginative, but it's better when these are done in one take. Too many opportunities for cheating.

One edit when the red ball appears to have stopped too soon.

Another edit when the slinky was going down the stairs.

And a few other opportunities along the way.

The chess pieces appear to have been done by stop-motion animation. Or were they done with magnets underneath? If magnets, then it was an excellent idea. If stop-motion, then there's another cheat.
