Crystal Clear Video of Sonic Boom at Recent Atlas V Launch - Neatorama

On February 11, NASA launched a Atlas V rocket. The rocket went supersonic (1:53 in the video) at an altitude where ice crystals in the sky made the sonic boom visible.

Kewl. I was a little nervous at first, though, when that giant terradactyl almost collided with it shortly after launch.
