This lamp post is an ad for McDonalds in Vancouver. You have to wonder 1. how much light does it really emit, and b. is the coffee still free? -via Gizmodo
One of the few times advertising brings a smile to my face.

The ad brings a smile to my face too, but it doesn't make me forget that McDonald's coffee tastes like boiled yak dung.

My understanding is that McDonald's is so bad that you don't buy it anyway, it's more like a (very) short term loan.... :)

It seems better then it used to be, I wonder if it's true that they had been previously been using 20 year old coffee grounds due to buying in bulk years ago. Probably false, but there's got to be a reason for coffee that bad.

Is anyone else annoyed by McDonald's acting like it invented coffee in its new cafe ad? Really, McD's? I had never heard of a latte or cappucino until you mentioned them about 10 times in the 45 second ad where you added "é" to every word. Ha. Funny.
