Warning: adorableness alert. 5-year-old Wesley performs Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" at the 2009 Spring Coffee Shop Jam in Seattle. Link -via Videogum
that is so stinkin cute... he's awesome... well, minus the bangs... lol
Am I the only person who found this incredibly creepy? That high, five-year-old voice singing about shooting a man in Reno just to watch him die? Reminds me of Chucky.
I thought he was great although I agree that they have to lose the haircut for this kid. I could barely walk when I was his age LOL and I'm sure Johnny and June got a big kick out of it up there.
This really is nothing special. At that age I could sing songs and play 2 WHOLE CHORDS. She just switches between the two and sings a song easy enough to memorize.
And, to settle the debate, IT IS A GIRL. The guitar has flowers, the voice is girly.
Folsom Pwinson. Twain. OMG.
Ohhhhh man will you have one terrible flashback that will haunt you in about 20 years when you are the next Brad Pitt... :-)
I thought it was a girl. There must be a certain spot in Folsom for his mother one would hope.
However I must say as a punk lover that Cash is a god amongst musicians and has a top floor in the tower of song, (along with Cohen).
