Misspelled Highway Sign

A sign on Highway 51 in Wisconsin points to exit 185. There are four words on the sign, and three are misspelled. "Exit" was correctly spelled.
David Vieth, director of the bureau of highway operations for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, said the mistake was made by Decker Supply Company of Madison, which printed the sign.

The sign for exit 185 on southbound Highway 51 reads “Buisness 51 Rothschield Schofeild.”

By Sunday morning, the sign had been replaced. Link

Near us is The Phoenix School - one road sign for which reads Pheonix. The local paper misprinted it in 1" headlines the other day, too.
Another local school has a sign "Pupils Entrance". Now, I'm glad they find children interesting, but entrancing sounds a little creepy. Besides, you'd thing a school could get apostrophes right.

We had signs along a road construction project near me that read "ROAD SUBJET TO FLOODING". I was always looking around for some of those subjets. The signs have since been fixed.

Ah, I know EXACTLY where that sign is because I used to live in Wausau. They finally finished the 51/20 exchange AFTER I MOVED DANGIT.
