Remember the dealership that gave away handguns if you buy their car last year? Well, they've upped their firepower: Max Motors in Butler, Missouri, is now giving away an AK-47 (technically, a voucher redeemable for one) when you buy a pick-up truck!
Mark Muller, owner of Max Motors, is upgrading an earlier sales gimmick in which he offered new truck buyers to choose between a $250 gas voucher or a gun voucher. The website says the dealer is giving away guns again "due to popular demand."
"Muller calls the initial deal an overwhelming success," Business Insider reports. "He also says it generates a lot of publicity and really angers 'liberals.'"

I've yet to meet one gun owner that wasn't some form of nut job and or other
I don't like guns, but at the same timeI wouldn't mind tinkering with one of the new AA-12 fully automatic shotguns LOL
Also, hearsetrax, I own a couple guns (a .22 rifle and a 12 gauge shotgun, and a BB gun) but I'd like to imagine I'm not a nutjob.
They sell things, it's what they do. And car merchants are proven to be predominantly republican, loud, attention-needing people.
Republican due to statistics and occupation (taxes and whatnot). Attention - have you SEEN the commercials? Loud - not necessarily but we're talking the giant inflatable gorilla on top of the dealership: pretty loud.
Won't somebody think of the children!
I grew up hunting, around guns, knives, bows and was a Marine Corps OCS DI brat to boot, yet I never went crazy and didnt go postal when I got laid off almost a month ago.
A gun is a tool, a screwdriver is a tool, both can be deadly in the hands of an idiot. One just has a longer range and moving parts.
Would it change anyone's opinion if it was a 12g or a .22 or a revolver?
So perhaps it is the trucks that he tries to sell that we should be outraged and shocked about....
the whole Rush Limbaugh/St. Louis Rams thing.
