At the 20th Annual Richard Opie Tournament at Pewaukee, Wisconsin, a the Pewaukee Longhorns battled the Wildcats in a close game of basketball.

With a tie game and seconds left in the fourth quarter of the final game of the championship, the Wildcats took one final shot from the other end of the court and ... you'll just have to see the shot for yourself!

You're right. Any structural supports of the hoop are considered out of bounds. It also looked like it might have hit the ceiling, which is also out of bounds.

However...gotta give the kid props for having the presence of mind to chuck the ball down court like that.

I think to be a true R.B. basket, it would have to involve an animal seeing something and reacting to it.

If anyone cares, I believe the ball became out of bounds the moment it hit the strap. That is why the basket did not count.
