Sick Sea Turtle Swims Right to Hospital Doorstep

A 73 pound loggerhead sea turtle seemed to know exactly where to go for a bacterial infection.  The turtle was suffering from a bacterial infection and swam to the Turtle Hospital in the Florida Keys, the only such licensed facility in the world that treats sea turtles.  The staff originally thought the turtle was lost and waited for a few hours, but after the turtle stuck around, it was taken in and treated.

I wonder if it's possible that this turtle had been caught and treated years before at this hospital and simply remembered getting well there. Don't sea turtles remember where to go year after year over hundreds or thousands of miles to mate and lay their eggs in a very specific location? This is a neat story!

@ Katioh I'm not sure, but that would certainly make sense if it's been there before and remembered that, that is where it goes to become better. Actually that would be pretty incredible! This is a very neat story. :)
