Team Hoyt

Rick Reilly wrote an article on Team Hoyt in 2005 for Sports Illustrated called "Strongest Dad in the World." I think his opening lines really some up how Hoyt makes you feel...

"I try to be a good father. Give my kids mulligans. Work nights to pay for their text messaging. Take them to swimsuit shoots.

But compared with Dick Hoyt, I suck."

When I saw the title, I was wary - I thought maybey the father was in denial and dragging his kid around. But after watching the video, and learning that the kid was actually quite aware, communicating, and the one who came up with the idea of racing - well, I have to agree that it's a very neat thing.

What a truly inspirational video this is, I would wish them all the best in future.

Wish this video clip was captioned (I'm deaf) but I'm astonished by the fact that the father has completed the Ironman triathlons with his son! *phew*
