Bolivia's Secret Bowling Technique: Two-Handed Bowling

[YouTube - Link]
A team of Bolivian bowlers has stormed the bowling world with their unusual two-handed technique, winning medals and championships in Argentina and Brazil.  Originally invented by Australian bowler Jason Belmonte, the two-handed bowling technique is relatively simple to perform:

Just two fingers are inserted into the holes and the thumb is left out.  The right hand is used to cradle the ball and create extra spin on release.  Then, if you're lucky, you get a strike.

Wow. It's a technique now. I used to do that when I was little because I was to weak to hold the ball in one hand. I always felt cheesy doing it because I knew it was like cheating. Yet perfectly acceptable in today's society of "weaker" human beings. LOL

I actually saw a group of guys doing this about a year ago - here in New York. It's pretty freaking impressive. And Randy it's probably not really the same thing you were doing. To see it in person you'd realize there's actually a lot of power behind it - the ball spins pretty incredibly fast.

It seems to me, after trying it, that this method wreaks havoc on your back. It's just not natural like one-armed bowling. Perhaps I'm just not doing it right, but it seems very UN-ergonomical.

My husband has been bowling like this for years. People kind of snicker when they see him do it for the first time, then they stop when he gets a strike. Can't wait to send this to him.

Two hands bowling is kind of new and impressive style with impressive results. Never fail me when I use it every time. I use to score an average of 170's but now in 200's and highest score 276.

well, hi I am from Venezuela and I am the first 300 performing the two handed bowling, I am 17 years old and I only want to say that this style is not a new technice, and it was not invented by jason Belmonte, but other thing is that jason and oskuu are the two ones that use the two handed perfomance to get big tittles cause they are very goods...so dont think that how thay are playing with bought hands the results are going to be betters.. -.- cause it is not true, if you really want to be better in this sport you have to practice and also be talented. YOU CAN DO ANY WAY YOU WANT TO DO..and I can say that I can beat anyone of the bolivian bowlers if I want it, so dont think they are the big thing..thay are goods, but not so much, and you can see in the videos by the way the play... if you want to contact me find me in facebook.. Sandro Perrino....and also I have video on youtube with the same name like facebook..
