The BraDryer: Quite Possibly the World's Most Uselessly Cool Gadget

Really, do we need this? It seems they are still patent-pending and looking for investors but it shouldn't be long before wide-eyed male venturists begin pouring their dollars into what could be an ill-fated rather than revolutionary home gadget.
The BraDryer is a patent pending technology dedicated to answering bra drying glitches with intensive care. It aims at drying bras via a female torso-shaped device while ensuring that fabric, wiring and padding remain intact.

Not a terrible idea. Do you KNOW how much (good) bras cost? and what dryers do to them. That's said, I find hanging over my shower rod works well for me.

oh everyone knows not to put your bras in the dryer; mine are laying out right now and they'll be dry in about an hour, no gadget necessary!

Actually, considering just how many underwire bras these days come with padding to keep your nipples from showing, this is probably a very handy device. But unless it's also compact enough to fit in the tiny bit of sink space I have, it's too big for my tiny apartment

Considering a good bra easily costs more than $150 it does seems useful. However, I'd be a lot more interested if it worked in the washng machine as well.

Johnny Cat;
At times having your nipples showing can be very like having an erection sticking out.

Could accomplish the same thing with a plastic mesh form - and it'd be safe in the washer. They make them for washing ball caps. Same concept would work with a bra.

I like redphone's idea. The reason you shouldn't dry bras in a dryer is because the heat breaks down the elastic. My laundry room has a closet rod above the washer and dryer, so I just hang mine on hangers. Unfortunately for my nursing bras, it doesn't keep the wide elastic band at the bottom from getting twisted up. A plastic form with enough space under the breast to help the band lay flat during washing would be great.

You think a good regular bra is expensive? Decent nursing bras (definitely not the ones sold at Motherhood) are priced even higher.

And your point is...?

This looks like one of those substitute girlfriends from Japan - for guys who can't afford the whole robot.

Silly me. That's what I thought the backs of chairs were for.

Everyone knows not to put your bras in the dryer.

An hour or so on the back of a chair, and they're dry.

Why did someone invent this? Must have been a guy.
