Trivia : There is no W, as in latin. W was used at this time only as a foreign 'northern' alphabet to spell foreign names. Before that (XVIIth century) they would even use the letters 'Uv'.
It was not until 1964 that the Robert dictionary declared it to be the 23rd letter of the French alphabet.
