Car Crashes Into Church Roof

In Germany, a speeding car missed a turn, and flew an amazing distance to crash into the roof of a nearby church.

The bank acted like a springboard, propelling the black Skoda about 35 meters (115 ft) forward and straight into the church's roof frame, where it remained wedged 7 meters off the ground, police said in a statement.

You know how fast you have to be going to propel a ton-and-a-half car over 100ft through the air??

We're not talking going 40 in a 35mph zone.

That car HAD to be going well over 70mph....

What was it like inside the church? "God, if You let me win the lottery, I promise to give most of it to charity. IF I'm lying, may I be struck by-HOLY CRAP!"

To fly up 7 meters, the vertical component of speed vector, at the point of takeoff is of approx 42 km/h.

I think he was going a little bit faster than the speed limit :o)
