Work It Out

The ever enjoyable Dark Roasted Blend blog had recently put up this video which I fell in love with. Called "Work It Out" by artist RJD2 and directed by Joey Garfield the video is an interesting take on Live Urban Performance acts. My favourite parts have to be when the performer uses the crutches in a way that makes him look like he's skating on Heelys (you know what all those kids are into now?). Neat thing is that RJD2 makes an appearance in the beginning of the video...he's the one trying to help the guy down the steps.

TGIF! :D

The subway stop he wallrides on with the skateboard is Borough Hall, Downtown Brooklyn. The 4 and 5 train. I know that area looked familiar but then I was like, HEY THAT'S MY STOP!

"Bill Shannon has bilateral hip deformity as a result of Legg Calvé Perthes, a disease that affects 1 in 1,200 children."

And I'm anopther one in 1200, I have Legg Calvé Perthes too.

It's a bloody rotten thing to get.

I really wish you would stop posting dancing-related video on this blog. Dancing is not neat and neither are crutches. This is why I left www.soultainfans.org!

This is a great video by a def artist. Great to see him get respect and appreciation for a solid career. I grew up listening to hip-hop and now that it has become stale trash, I find the instrumentalists and true hip-hoppers alive and well still keeping heads nodding.
