Ever Seen a Creepier Tower?

yep - I saw these in person in 2002. pretty sweet, if you ask me.

When I first saw those we just missed one falling off and crushing a car. Theyre HUGE babies!

I think they may have ingested a bit too much of that Absinthe we were talking about a few posts back. ;)

At first I thought the babies would be cameras. THAT would have been creepy.

The only thing worse than crawling babies would be dancing babies...I hated that awful thing.

At least they're not tarantulas. Although...

There is a creepy baby in MetroTech Center in Brooklyn, NY USA. Below is a good pic of it and link to a full size photo. Gave me a good chuckle the first time I went to MetroTech. If you go there, look for the seeing eye dog.

As far as i understand it: They were not left up because people liked them so much, but because there was not enough funding to take them down. Or rather, no one would spend their own funds to make happen. So the babies are left hanging in limbo. (Sometimes the Kafka-esque bureaucracy here in Prague has its pluses.)
