Bob Hezzelwood, aka "Beach Bob" was sitting on the South of Bonita Beach in Florida when he was ticketed ... for wearing a speedo!
Beach Bob says that routine was broken up when a Lee County Sheriff's Deputy issued him a citation for trespassing because the deputy felt Bob's Speedo swimsuit crossed the line.
Hezzelwood says, "he said you're going to have to find another beach and wrote a trespass notice."
Other local beach goers told WINK News that they've never had a problem with Bob's Speedo. "He was ticketed for wearing a speedo, which was evidently too visual for the police officer," Chip Parfet said. "As far as I'm concerned, I've seen bikinis that show a lot more."

Plus, he's a little too old to be a 'beach bum' or whatever.
Then again, that's Florida for you. Ha! everything in that picture is so typcial Florida.
Got real hang-ups about sex, that is why America abuses it.
This isn't the first news article about some idiot to come out of Florida...
Those basketball pants, preferred in the US, are rare.
Anyhow, I felt quite uncomfortable on my frist day playing beach volleyball in Galveston, TX in my normal european outfit... :)
Uptight, but if enough people are grossed out by it... can't really blame em.
People are rediculous. America does not have a monopoly on it.
Funny creative people can get when trying to work in an 'America sucks' comment.
Speedos are the norm in Europe.
Where do we get off telling people their bodies are gross and shouldn't be seen in public? If only hot people were allowed to wear swimsuits the beaches would be populated with the fully clothed.
And "too old to be a beach bum?" People have to work their whole lives, often at jobs they hate, so that they can earn the right to do what they love. At what age should people not be allowed to go to the beach?
I don't really understand how choice of clothing can constitute trespassing.
Hey LAAA-DIES!
Well, it actually is. Do you know what's inside them?
A bikini bottom covers things. A Speedo just cling-wraps and defines things. There's a difference.
I don't understand why men who wear Speedos don't just find a nude beach and be done with it. It's almost like they want to be naked anyway and they're just "covering up" because it's the law.
Who the hell wears a Speedo anymore?
I'm no fan of Speedos, but a citation? For "trespassing"? Are you kidding me? Find some real crime to fight.
And WTF with all the Florida hate? It's not like we all hang out at the beach every day, jeeze. Personally I hate the beach, and I grew up in Daytona.
I fail to see your point... Camel toes and wedgies aren't all that different.
Just because a guy wears it shouldn't make a difference.
