Jeremy Kipnis has the ultimate home theater.
His Stewart Snowmatte laboratory-grade screen is the biggest I've ever seen in a home, and in the back of the theater, there's a Sony ultra-high-resolution (4,096-by-2,160) SRX-S110 digital projector. I'm looking everywhere, jotting down questions, and Kipnis sounds almost giddy talking about his theater's capabilities. He refers to his baby, the Kipnis Studio Standard (KSS), as "The Greatest Show on Earth." And from the looks of it, he may be right.
The equipment specs are impressive, and the photographs even more so. Link -via Unique Daily and Oh Gizmo!

Until you give all of your money to charity and never, ever buy anything for your own personal pleasure, you need to keep quiet about how other people spend their money.
Hypocrisy isn't just for conservatives, you know.

btw, his father was an amazing harpsichordist, if you like that sort of thing (I do!)
Hell, I can probably rent a theatre as often as I want for that much.
I could hire people to come to my house and act out the movies....
Or, I could enjoy the rest of my entire life never having to worry about money again.
Some people.
You are correct, judging the owner by the content of 1 picture is jumping to conclusions. And yes, I do agree that if you work hard to earn millions, you should be allowed to waste that money on whatever you want.
However. 6million for a home theater system is an exorbitant expenditure by anyones stretch of the imagination. Its exceedingly selfish and materialistic.
Exceedingly.
Then I eat them.
maybe you could film yourself eating them, then carruthers can watch the film round at this guy's house. i think he might enjoy that.
