I assume you mean only if the cats are stationary, and not if the slippers are.

Now any businessman i saw carrying a "pizza box" on the tube to work at 7am in the morning would be my first target if i was a mugger! lol

also the light only comes on when the foot is down, which doesn't help you see where to place the foot that is in the air moving forward.
kinda clever idea though.
