Actually, Grupo Bimbo [wiki], the baking company whose truck you see in the photo above, is the fourth largest food corporation in the world! The word "bimbo" doesn't have any meaning in Mexican Spanish - they just thought it sounded good!
And before you made fun of them, just remember that they made $5.3 billion in sales in 2006. That's a whole lot of bread.
I've seen some of the Bimbo products in local Hispanic grocery stores.
(Think Hostess/Little Debbie/Dolly Madison snack cake type stuff)
In southamerica BIMBO has another name, i guess is Pan Ideal, because BIMBO is the slang for whor* or d*ck... in this region.
Other funny Mexican names:
"Fud"--a brand of lunch meats. (Pronounced "food".)
"Kike's"--a supermarket chain. (Pronounced "key-kays".)
Their products are, in general and putting it kindly, sub-par.
