Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley was born on Feb.13, 2003 and weighed just 2 lbs, 8 ounces. Young Kenadie was not expected to survive long but years later she is still with us.
At the age of 8 months, Kenadie was diagnosed with primordial dwarfism, a genetic condition that is believed to affect only about 100 people in the world.
She isn't expected to grow past about 30 inches or weigh more than 8 pounds. Her family maintains an enchanting website filled with photos and Kenadie updates. The site can be viewed here.
The photo above is of Kenadie and photographer Gary Parker.
It is believed that Caroline Crachami, the Sicilian Fairy, was the first documented primordial dwarf. She toured Europe in 1824 and passed away that same year.
...and some of us are creepy-looking, _insensitive_ giants, too.

Awww, I just want to hug her, she's so darn cute!
i'm a fan !
I would feel horribly ungainly and dangerous around such a small person, the perceived fragility of her would have me walking on egg shells.
I read the Wiki entry and found nothing pertaining to the mental development prognosis.
I hope that due to her scale being small that she operates with a smaller brain.
That is to say, all to scale.
Here's hoping she lives her shortened life in happiness and comfort.
The remarkably differnt can have very sad lives, see Julia Pastranna, or very full and happy ones, see Grace McDaniels.
A lot of it is down to the norms being a mensch about things.
Good luck always and Godspeed to Kenadie and her family in all their endevours.
Warmest regards,
Bonnie McDaniel
When you're special and trying to do good in the world you will always find those who don't know any better, you just have to let there stupidity roll off of you and keep being who you are. I have learned that God sends special people into the world to be a blessing to others in so many ways. We endure a lot but we overcome and are made to be spiritually strong.
When I first saw Kenadie I thought she was so beautiful, her light shined so bright that my heart mealted and I couldn't help but to smile. It's funny how seeing someone smiply being themselves can make you smile. So many people are afraid or unhappy with who they are. Everyones busy trying to fit in and be the same as everyone else.
Kenadie's physical apperance isn't what really makes her different, Kenadie is different because she is happy with who she is and that is when you know you are truly blessed.
