Speculation is that this video is viral marketing for the Cloverfield movie (also called 1-18-08), for the Halo film, or for the videogame Crysis (links go to Wikipedia). What do you think? Push play or go to YouTube. -via Viral Video Chart
Update: The secret is revealed!
Fake!
That's not a real spaceship.
Photoshop.
Shop.
and
First!
And what can surprise is what ... it's not only the flying saucers that are virtual, the palms trees also. They are identic!

But it's obvious anyway that this is a viral commercial for something ...
What I always find funny about these viral movies is the "kinda shaky - but not too shaky" camera work. All you have to do is look at the tsunami footage or Barry Bond's home run fan footage to see truly crappy hand-held camera work. I doubt anyone would be composed enough to shoot that so well if it were really happening. A home run is one thing - a (potentially) alien spacecraft is quite another.
IT IS NOT FAKE!!!
its plainly viral marketing for something so unless you have some proof go away.
and whats the reason for a lie like that anyways?
The original poster of this video also wrote that his version was 5:00's long and YT yanked it and closed his account.?
why does the video stop and not continue to see them fade away as any normal being would. and dont give me an excuse like: out of film dude or camera battery died
It doesnt look the same at first but later on the same craft appears..wtf. Marketing ploy?
My wife and I were in Haiti at El Rancho Resort having a cup of coffee together sitting on the patio when they flew over.
We are back in the states now but hundreds of us tourist saw this.
(P.S.) The reason the palm trees look the same is because they are labor is cheap in Haiti. The resorts hire many landscape personal to tend care of the resort. The trees are grommed to look the same. I'm sure it's the company policy to make the resort took uniformed, clean and well groomed.
We are back in the states and my wife is now going to a shrink because of this. Glad someone caught it on film because it validates everyones claims. (I'm sure you will see more on the internet shortly about this. Most people are computer newbies and don't know how to post a video.)

The people here who are screaming fake are all so full of themselves that they think they know the answers to everything. Too cool is how they see themselves and ready to shoot down anything they can't understand.
In any case, the tape should be submitted to MUFON where they can do an analysis on it and that would be the final word on the subject.
I believe is it real, maybe because I hope it is real, but also because I think that no-one which has the ability to produce something so well done, waste his time to just pubblish it in internet to see what the people will say on it. And regarding camera, cellphones or PSP with cams or whatever else....
I own many devices with video or photo recording, but try to think you're there at that moment.... you're drinking your margherita, suddently you realize that those "things" are around you flying in a path... before you realize what's going on and before loosing any single second of this extraordinary event you're a witness and before you find you mobile phone (which has the keypad locked, menu, camera, etc etc.... ) they are already gone and you miss it because you was fighting with the software system of your mobile.
And you'll loose the record in your memory for the rest of your life because you want something to post on "youtube"........ you must be an alien too to react that fast.... personally i think i will remaining with my margherita glass and open mouth until i see them fading away.. and then after look around if someone else have seen the same, otherwise the margherita is already too much.
He/She take the video because was maybe already recording something else.... and then see something around.....
I believe this.... I might be wrong....
You bring up an excellent point. Why would someone put so much time and effort in to creating such a beautiful piece of artwork. Well, off the top of my head I can think of a few. 1:They're being paid to do it for a future sci-fi film. 2: They're being paid to do it for a future video game. 3: They're being paid to do it to showcase some new cgi software. The list of possibilities go on and on. By the way, artist don't believe that creating art is a waste of time no matter how they choose to display it to the public and this is definitley a work art.
Now, as to your next suggestion of people being too dumbfounded to think to capture this event in some way. How do you explain the literaly thousands of pictures and videos other people have captured of supposed UFO's? Shouldn't those people have been equally as awe struck? Or how about events that are a little more based in reality. Tidal waves in Southern Asia, hurricane in New Orleans, mass murders in Iraq, the complete destruction of the Twin Towers. All of which recorded and photographed by everyday people. Why weren't these people too afraid or in awe to document these events?
This is a magnificent piece of cgi artwork. That's it, nothing more, nothing less.
"They're digital creations which, according to the LA Times, were put together by someone identified as "Barzolff" in connection with a feature film project."

I for one have seen a UFO (1973) up CLOSE (within a few feet of my bedroom window). I believe there are WAY more things going on than people have the GUTS to face and/or admit...that's why all you nay sayers are so adamantly defending your denial of "their" existence!!
I WAS THEREOVER!!!
And I talked to them, they are so friendly and lovely..
It was a huge pleasure to live with them, and the female ets are very hot and sexiest I ever met!!!
OMG!!!
From ARGENTINA!!!!
