China's Largest Public Toilets

The Chinese are at it again! This time they have unveiled what could be the world’s largest bathroom - a 4-storey building with over 1,000 toilets spread out over out over 32,290 square feet!

Some urinals are uniquely shaped, including ones inside open crocodile mouths and several that are topped by the bust of a woman resembling the Virgin Mary; some areas even have TVs and “gentle music” to help you poo.

Hmm... so in the Chinese dictatorship, I can urinate into the Virgin Mary, but in the USA if I place a Koran into the toilet, I can be charged with multiple felonies?

I think it would depend on the cultural and religious view. In China, majority of the population are Buddhists so they view Virgin Mary statue ( or something look a like) as a decoration rather than a religious item . Same in the West I think. I once went to a so called Asian themed bar here and they actualy placed a Buddha statue opposite the toilet in the restroom.
