Driving from Argentina to Alaska to Asia.

Herman and Candelaria Zapp drove from Argentina to Alaska in their 1928 Graham Paige Model 610 touring car. The carâ€™s top speed is about 35 mph. The trip took almost three years, covered 43,717 miles, and produced a son. Link -via Grow-A-Brain

Herman and Cande told the story of their amazing dream last night(friday 27 feb 2009) at the Austin Car Club meeting in Sydney. What a dream,I was really entertained and amazed,Cande is due to give birth to their fourth child in about a week,I had to leave the meeting in a hurry, but I am looking forward to meeting them again soon,keep watching for updates on their progress.

This family in their car came to stay at Cable Beach Caravan Park in Broome when I was there a few days ago. I was enchanted! I understand they started out 8 years ago, just the two of them, and now have 4 children as well. I don't know about the dream, but I admire them for following it.
