ha! i used to work on animating this to sell it to congress (1996-seattle-boeing) the real one looks cooler than the one i animated. as far as i know, it only shoots down ballistic missiles. the scary part is the entire 747 is filled with nasty chemical-powered lasers.

Come to think of it, I don't think I'd like to stand within a few miles of the whole thing.
