Urban Furniture.

STL Loftstyle, a furniture store, has an article about both furniture that discourages the homeless and furniture that helps the homeless get a night’s sleep. Pictured is the ParaSite project, which uses exhaust from HVAC units to keep a sleeper warm on the street. http://www.stlloftstyle.com/urban-furniture.html -via Reddit

ParaSite... Good one there.

I'd file this under Colossally Bad Ideas. How long would it be before someone hooked it up to the wrong kind of exhaust and died from CO2 poisoning?

Why would you want to encourage the homeless to set themselves up outside your residence or business? And before you get all "holier than thou" on me ask yourself the question honestly. Would you REALLY want to do this and let random people from the street hang around your property?

But when it's cold out, the air conditioner would be off anyway, no? Not to mention dripping water when it's on. Think I'll stick to sleeping over a subway grate.
