What I'm really linking to here is an article in Slate about the song/dance/video called Aunt Jackie and the flurry of activity it has created on YouTube. I must confess that as a 37-yr old hip-hop fan, reading the article and watching the videos this morning made my day. The YouTube video above is apparently the first and original and not of the best quality. I'd recommend reading its introduction in the article before taking a peek. Its imitators, many of which are also linked in the article, are a great deal of fun and mostly of at least marginally better quality. Note that there is some "street language" in the video embedded above! Now - do the Aunt Jackie! Slate.com.

Fortunately, with regards to this post, I'M THE DECIDER. I'M THE COMMANDER-GUY. I think the whole thing is neat, therefore as DECIDER and COMMANDER-GUY, it is "neat."
Welcome to THE INTERNETS.
Please refrain from deciding anything ever again.

The type of music when you use it make your aunt happy
will be singing that all day now
Too bad since I'm a puny white nerdy kid, if I end up anywhere near harlem I'll be scared for my life.
But seriously, that was awesome Adam, thanks for posting it. The song is infectious. And I love Black Cesar sayin' "Chicken noodle soupin' it"
Harlem is as safe as anyplace else in this country - even for a puny white nerdy kid. Don't let the media fool you into thinking anything different.
"A mythical bird that never dies, the phoenix flies far ahead to the front, always scanning the landscape and distant space. It represents our capacity for vision, for collecting sensory information about our environment and the events unfolding within it. The phoenix, with its great beauty, creates intense excitement and deathless inspiration." - The Feng Shui Handbook, Lam Kam Chuen
