This Viper Fish lives about a mile deep in the ocean, which is fine with me. It’s one of Ten Horrible Deep Sea Ceatures listed at Odd Week. Link -via the Presurfer
I read somewhere that those Viper fish used to live even deeper in the past. It's like they're evolving to be able to coexist with fish in less deep area.
I think viperfish are very long like a fishing pole. I know that viperfishes are called photophores. These lights help the viperfish see in the dark. The viperfish uses a glowing lure attached to its dorsal fin like a fishing pole. A fish is attracted to the light and comes close. The viperfish unhinges its jaws. CHOMP!It traps the fish behind its fangs.....
APRIL FOOL! Mouhahahaha =D
