I think it's pretty good considering they cannot get too many goods from the outside world thanks the the US trade embargo. Most of what they have they make. A lot of there automobiles are old 50s-60s cars that they have to make parts for themselves to keep running... Imagine that, people living outside of the comforts of modern living, and doing it by hand.
That is not an amusement park, that is simply a street-faire. We have lots of them also in Mexico, and while they may look extremely boring, they are quite exciting at times (imagine a thing going round and round without a security belt... that is fun!)
