Abusin' the Apostrophe.

In 2001, John Richards started the Apostrophe Protection Society, which aims to preserve the correct use of this much abused punctuation mark.

There's a Flickr group, called Grocer's Apostrophe which documents bad use of the punctuation mark at the grocery store, as well as several blogs like Apostrophe Catastrope and Apostrophe Abuse.

Whatever you do, just don't make mistakes with commas: an erroneous comma in a contract cost Rogers Communications $2 million!

More punctuation mark shenanigans at Miss Cellania.

I have a friend who likes to type "Simpson's" for the TV show. :( I keep reminding him that there is NO astrophe unless referring to ownership like Simpsons' house.

Isn't the given sign perfectly fine with or without the apostrophe? Its current state means that the restroom is for customer's use only and that the key is at the cashier. Whereas, without the apostrophe, it's telling the customer reading the sign to use the only key, which is at the cashier.
