From the website:
The celebrated tenor Roberto Alagna has given his first full explanation of why he stormed off the stage at La Scala after being booed during a performance.
Alagna claimed the hostile reaction from sections of the Milan crowd had made him physically ill and left him "broken-hearted", prompting his swift departure.
"Have you any idea what it's like to hear people shouting 'Boo!' when I was singing with all my heart and had sung well?" he said in a French newspaper interview.
And now, he's suing because he was booed. Really.
Now he says he plans to sue the Milan opera house for "failing to help a person in danger", claiming his blood sugar levels dropped perilously low because the audience boos had unnerved him.
