I'm happy to announce that we are starting a new weekly collaboration with VideoSift to bring you 5 of the funniest, weirdest, and most interesting video clips on the Net (all submitted and voted on by their registered members - like a democracy of sorts. It's not for nuthin' that they won PC World's Best Video Aggregator!).
I'm sure many of you have been on the 'Sift before (if not, go there pronto!) and many of Neatorama's posts came via the popular site, so how hard could it be? Grab the neatest clips and put 'em together in a post. Sounds easy enough, but it turns out, it's quite challenging. See, they're *all* neat at VideoSift so it won't be easy to pick just 5!
But pick we must, so here's the Top 5 Videos at VideoSift You've Got To See (some new, some older, but I promise you - they're interesting):
How crazy are North Koreans? Just take a look at their insane military training... Let's not get into a fight with them, like, ever. Actually, everything about North Korea is nuts. Like their traffic cop (compared with, say, somewhere else)
The British forces, on the other hand, don't seem so tough in comparison! Here's a clip of their fierce amphibious assault
Getting stuck in mud is probably preferable to driving on icy roads, like these poor people in Portland. It looks like they're playing vehicular pinballs.
Enough about ice and snow, how about fire? I can imagine the conversation right now: Let's see, gasoline + bonfire, what could go wrong?
Let's end with this: all that explosive power of gasoline sits in a gas tank located just a few feet behind your butt as you sit in your car. And as Paris Hilton finds out, turns out you kind of need gas to make your car go (in her case, a Bentley). Luckily, there were paparazzi nearby who helped push her car and get gas for her... Who needs AAA when you've got these guys? |
And with that, I've run out of gas for now - Be sure to visit VideoSift for more fun videos!
The guy in the beginning of the video seems like he's actively making the experience worse than it had to be.
What do you think was going on in Portland? I think that the road must be steeper than it appears from above.
Nevertheless, this sounds like the beginning of a beeyootiful friendship...! ;-)
