Designed by Felix de Pass, the SpongeCoasters not only protect the surface the drink is on, it is also handy for any nearby spill!

If your drinking glass really sweats won't the SpongeCoaster absorb the liquid to the point of saturation thus allowing the liquid to soak through to the surface it's sitting on? I don't see anything to prevent this from happening. Even if there was a protective cover on the bottom the liquid would eventually escape from the sides and drip down to the surface it's sitting on. I doubt if I'd buy this product.
