Check out HotPads.com too. It is a rental housing search site that has heat maps like Neighboroo and also provides census data, wikipedia articles, etc. It's pretty cool

Unfortunately, I don't trust the statistics listed here. I know for a fact that the population listed for my city is waaaaaaay off!
