It's probably safe to say that Bandit the pet raccoon didn't climb to the tops of many trees, especially when his weight mushroomed to 75 pounds. Shown here in 1991 with owner Deborah Klitsch of Palmerton, Penn., Bandit weighed more than three times the average weight for a male coon. He passed away in May 2004, fat and sassy.

Poor raccoon ... and the top fat cats as well ... it makes me feel so sad for people to just let their pets gorge themselves. That's the reason why you should portion your pets food, rather than leaving food in their bowl 24/7.
Sad. REALLY EFFIN SAD. That raccoon should not have been allowed to get that big. That lady is SICK and anyone who would let their animals gorge themselves is SICK.
Bascially it is animal abuse.
