Wartsila-Sulzer: World's Largest Diesel Engine.

Check out this ginormous engine, built by Aioi Works of Japan's Diesel United, Ltd. for a container ship.

If you think your SUV is a gas guzzler, this engine burns 1,600 gallons of heavy fuel oil per hour at its most efficient power setting!

Actually, this engine, at its most efficient power setting, surpasses 50% in thermal efficiency, making it one of the most efficient diesels too! No fuel guzzler at all!
