This went 'round the Net a month or two ago (we're very late on this one. It's one of the most watched clip on YouTube). Watch closely - do you think it's fake? Watch the pedestrians ... The intersection in the video clip seems to be Westminster and Harbor [Google Earth] in Santa Ana, Southern California. - via Vudeja Hit play or go to Link [YouTube] |
Nobody reacts. None of the cars stop, which is what I'd have done if someone went in front of me.

This is real. Check out the black truck just as the car was going past. The person hit the brakes at the last second averting a terrible collision. The hero is the person driving the black truck for their split second reaction.

I don't think it's fake. Pay attention to the shadows and the trail of water behind the car. It would be a very impressive piece of work if it weren't real. I reckon nobody reacts because the car is going like a comet ... some drivers probably didn't even notice it

I didn't even notice it at first, not until the third play.

Good eye. I thought this was fake until now. It looks too subtle now to be fake.

I'm not sure. Agree w/ pld that the shadows & water trail would be hard to fake. But something about the white car (one or two lanes after the black truck). It should have been in the path of the speeding car.

I'm sorry, the Chuck Norris driving title almost made me fell off my chair. :))
