A fogbow is formed by much smaller droplets of water than a rainbow. These droplets are too small to reflect and refract sunlight, so instead diffraction of light is dominant. In parts of Canada, we get ice-fogs (freezing fog) and yes, ice-fog rainbows. They are spectacular. I wish I had a pic to post a link to...
