New Species of World's Largest Flower.

Scientists have just discovered a new species of Rafflesia (the world's largest flower at 42 inch diameter) in the Philippines.

The plant is a parasite: it has no roots, stems, or leaves and when in bloom, it emits a nasty smell similar to that of a dead rat.
