Enterprise (2012) by Doug Pedersen
Before we can boldly go where no one has gone before, we need a plan ... and blueprints! That's where illustrator Doug Pedersen come in. The Minneapolis, Minnesota, based artist has created a sci-fi inspired series of mashups of popular pop culture vehicles with real ones from NASA's space program. Behold, NASA Mashups.
Challenger
The first in Pedersen's NASA Mashup series, titled "Challenger," was inspired by reading Neil DeGrasse Tyson's Space Chronicles as well as his general love of all things NASA.
Viking Probe
Pedersen's sense of humor shines through in his description of the Viking Probe:

Transmissions:
