Beatles-Themed Birthday Party
I am geeking out over this amazing birthday party from Suzanne at Shepaperie that is featured on Hostess with the Mostess. When every other girl my age was madly in love with Gavin Rossdale and Billie Joe Armstrong (OK, I liked them too), I was plastering my bedroom walls with Beatles posters and bemoaning the fact that I was about 30 years too late. Although the fangrrl in me is (mostly) under control these days, I actually squealed a little when I saw this party theme. You see, we're celebrating a first birthday in our house in about six weeks, and I haven't picked a theme yet. Yellow Submarine Twinkies? Let it B-L-T Bites? Octopus' Garden salad? Are you kidding me? And the record dessert stands are seriously inspired.
My wheels are turning. Stay tuned in about, oh, six weeks, to see if I can pull off anything even half as cool as this!
