Animal Family Portraits

So many animal species have familial bonds that, in their own ways, are equal the strength of ours. In a sense they are more intense than ours, in that humans rarely are forced to defend the lives of their family members in the face of predators looking to kill them. Whether protective and loving behaviors among animals are the result of instinct, emotional attachment or both, evidence of it abounds, and it makes for sweet photographs and in-person observations.

I had some extra origami paper on hand so I tried it with that. Fantastic! I always wanted to know how to make these bows.

I didn't have any of those brass reinforcement-thingys so I used a thumb tack until it was done, then stapled it. Works great, plus the point is sharp enough to go thru the paper without extra tearing.

Awesome find! Also, great idea about the thumb tack/stapling! I want to try and make some of these when I get home, but I know I don't have any of those brass things!

You weren't kidding about these being addictive...I made tons of them while watching TV last night, I literally had to force myself to stop making them and go to sleep : )
