The fun starts about :40 into this video. The movie White Fang came on TV and this Akita went on the alert. There’s a bear! The guy had to hold off the dog to keep the TV from getting knocked over! The lady here is right; the Akitas breed we know was bred from dogs that hunted large game, such as bears, boars, and deer.
Have you noticed that pets who never paid any attention to cathode-ray tube TV sets now interact with flat screens all the time? My cats never watched TV until we finally got a flat screen -now they sit and watch anything that’s on.
