Believe it or not, this is a “phone booth.” Redditor grains_of_paradise posted this picture of a new phone booth installed in his mother’s workplace. A phone booth in an office? Yep, but this booth doesn’t actually have a phone. It’s a quiet place where people can use their cell phones. Kinda like the Cone of Silence.
They are made by the Finnish company Framery, and come in sizes for more than one person as well as the single booth, and even models on wheels. It’s a good idea, because sometimes you need a little privacy to take that call from your doctor or your kid’s school principal. And Superman needs a place to change clothes. Of course, redditors decided it would be the perfect place to fart at work.
Or a place to get away from the farters, in case you're outnumbered.
