The artist 阿塗 (Ah To) created this comic to illustrate 81 Cantonese proverbs all in one picture. Unless you were born and raised there, you wouldn’t know what they are, but many appear to involve ghosts. At Cantonese Resources, there’s a legend that explains each one, with a numbered graphic to help you find them.
Some of them even have an audio snippet of the proverb. Take a close look; you’ll get a kick out of seeing a guy pull a cow up a tree, a cat burning its own whiskers, telephone soup, and a tiger on a boat of pottery.
