Kayden's First Rain

(vimeo link)

Isn’t it wonderful when you see children react to something they’ve never experienced before with joy instead of fear? Nicole Byon captured her 15-month-old daughter sister Kayden discovering the feel of rain for the first time, which she found delightful and fascinating -and went back out in over and over. May you always look at the world with that sense of wonder, kid. The accompanying song is "In My Arms" by Jon Foreman. -via Laughing Squid

That's just the most delicious thing yet today!
Like that question that went around Facebook recently: When you walk in the rain, do you get wet or do you feel the rain?

There you are enjoying the amazing view when a small bird bangs into the glass, plink. No worries the bird shakes it off and flies away. The impact, however, causes a small crack [plink]. You stand up [plink]. "What the hell?!" [plink, plink, plink] Can you get to the door before the house breaks up and falls into the water? Great idea for a game!

I would only live in or rent the house if it were in the middle of a very busy city center and was accompanied by very attractive, randy, lewd-natured companions. But not in the wilderness...that would be rather pointless...would it not?
